Rolex Daytona 16528

Because the modern Daytona is so mainstream, we deliver you a magnificent 18k yellow-gold Zenith Daytona. And guess what? There is not even a waiting list.

1988 was the introduction of the second-generation Daytona. This Daytona, dating back to 1995 (so, still with a tritium index), has reference 16528. This indicates that the watch is made from 18k yellow gold. Moreover, the dial colour is also yellow gold, which makes this watch quite impressive. The Zenith Daytonas are larger (40 mm) than their predecessors. The crown guards, chronograph pushers and sapphire crystal make it a very robust, sporty piece. This is definitely not a watch for everyone! The watch is powered by the famous El Primero-based Zenith caliber 4030, which was Rolex’s first self-winding chronograph movement. Its predecessor, the 62XX-series, housed a Valjoux caliber and the third generation, which was introduced in 2000, houses a complete Rolex in-house movement.
