The Tank Américaine is an interpretation of the classic Tank. While the traditional Tank has more balanced rectangular proportions, the Américaine has longer vertical sides and shorter horizontal sides, giving it a completely different look. The design remains instantly recognizable as a Tank, but with its own character, elegant yet bold. The factory-set diamonds on the bezel create a beautiful dynamic design. The matching white-gold bracelet was specially made for the Tank Américaine series and features a beautiful concealed clasp.

The dial is typical Cartier with the Roman numerals and "railroad" minute track, interrupted at the 6 o'clock position for the date. The surface is wonderfully adorned with a guilloche finish. The blued steel hands complete the iconic picture.
