This Patek Philippe is the square root of 100, a perfect 10.
Patek and perpetual calendars go way back. If you have some time, read up on the 1518, 2499 and numerous other references. Now over to more contemporary watchmaking. The beloved 3940 was the predecessor of the 5140 and measured 1.2 mm smaller; this one comes in at 37.2mm but remains sleek due to the thin automatic cal. 240Q, which can be admired through the crystal case back. Furthermore, the graphics changed, bringing a more modern look to the table; among other things due to the larger and different font. The opaline dial still remains in perfect balance and features recessed sub-dials on the 3 and 9 o'clock position. The moon phase is the epitome of watchmaking romance and can be enjoyed at the bottom of the dial.
This timepiece has barely been worn and comes on a new deep brown suede strap and the original Patek Philippe Calatrava, yellow gold deployment clasp. It is accompanied by the Extract From The Archives and service papers. The watch dates back to 2007. For those who are looking for something more complicated than their girlfriend or wives, we got you covered.
