Smooth bezel, wood dial.

An incredible Datejust configuration. Starting with the reference: 16008; remarkably rarer than its fluted-bezel counterpart 16018. This one sports a smooth domed bezel, in order to not distract from the dial. Arguably the star of the show is this remarkable wood dial with amazing color. The short and thin markers leave enough room for the dial surface to be enjoyed to the fullest.

Just like the 18K yellow gold case, the bracelet remains in great condition. Moreover it has undergone a full revision at Rolex and additionally it comes with the original box and papers too. But as always, most important is the condition and configuration; so you can probably understand our excitement of offering this beauty from 1979.
