Rolex GMT-Master 1675 ‘Radial Dial’

During its production of roughly twenty years, the Rolex GMT-Master reference 1675 has been subject to various alterations on both, an aesthetic and technological level. Especially, the dial underwent evident adjustments. The ‘Radial Dial’ is one of them.

This type of dial features a smaller, more centered index than the other GMT-Master dials. Furthermore, it can be seen that the writing on these dials have more serifs. Initially, this type of dial was introduced in the early 1960s but after a short production period it was discontinued and replaced by another type of dial. In 1977, however, the ‘Radial Dial’ made its reappearance on the market. Only now, with a matte, Swiss-T < 25 dial.

We are pleased to offer this example, which has taken on a white shade of patina. We think you should know that the tritium markers are not completely intact, which is reflected in the price. The watch is completely original with an original Pepsi bezel (with a red-back inlay) and comes on its original, stainless steel, folded Jubilee bracelet, which is in a very fresh condition. The stainless steel case, which measures 40 mm. is in a great condition, still has thick lugs and sharp bevel edges. The watch is powered by the caliber 1570. Thanks to the production period of just one year, the MKIII dial is very rare and interesting for collectors.
