Gentlemen pay attention. This refined Audemars Piguet from 1979 is in a near to new condition and emphasises ones unique yet classic taste. The oval-shaped case sports an intricate decoration that really gives you that 70's vibe. It has a snapback-case and well-proportioned yet unsigned crown. The dial, like the case and bracelet, is executed in 18K yellow gold. The surface is sandblasted thus giving it a slightly more toned down look, also because it is 'ton-sur-ton'. An applied logo can be found at the 12 o'clock position whilst the brandname is displayed in a contrasting black colour at the bottom of the dial. Please note the faceted hands, adding depth with a polished side and a matte finished one. The watch is powered by the manual-winding cal. 2003.The integrated mesh bracelet is typical seventies and is stamped by AP and has an applied logo on the clasp. The clasp is adjustable to enhance the comfort of wearing this sleek piece. Even-though the watch was kept in immaculate condition, there is a small dent in the surface of the bracelet. It comes with the original leather etui and letter from Le Brassus stating this watch was sold in 1979. This is your chance to own such a sophisticated timepiece. Possibly AP's answer to Patek Philippe's Ellipse, yet a little more funky.
