This ref. 25685BA sports a beautiful stepped 18k yellow gold case. Despite its rather large size for a dress watch, namely 36 mm, the elegant short lugs ensure that the watch maintains a classy appearance.

The white dial is a true piece of art. The various complications are placed in a playful manner across the dial, providing a lovely juxtaposition with the otherwise classic sensibilities imposed by the Roman numerals and the leaf hands. A sub-dial at the 6 o’clock position displays a second time zone function, while a sub-dial between 1 and 3 indicates the date. Meanwhile, a power reserve indicator is incorporated between the 8 and 11 o’clock positions. The seemingly haphazard placement of the complications could’ve led to an overly busy, perhaps even cluttered, dial. Yet, the measured use of recesses and repeating gold rings ensure an overall harmonious look.

The 25685 is powered by Audemars Piguet’s ultra thin caliber 2129 automatic movement, ensuring a slim profile that can easily slide under the cuff of your shirt.
