Who doesn’t love the Royal Oak? Unfortunately, for the small-wristed among us, the regular Royal Oak is just a tad too big. Thankfully, we can still get the full RO experience with the more modestly sized 14790!

The reference 14790 Royal Oak was launched by Audemars Piguet in 1992. At 36 mm, this mid-size Royal Oak is more wearable than the full-size ‘Jumbo’. Don’t be fooled by its dimensions though, it wears a bit larger due to the Royal Oak’s iconic angular case design.

This 14790SA is a two-tone execution from 1997 and features a champagne dial with Audemars Piguet’s iconic ‘Petite Tapisserie’ engraved pattern. As is typical for pre-2000 executions of the 14790, the dial sports long hour markers that are filled with a tritium luminous compound.

The stainless steel case, 18k yellow gold octagonal bezel, and two-tone integrated bracelet are in wonderful condition, with sharp edges. This 14790 is accompanied by an extract from the Audemars Piguet archives.
