It’s 2022 and we keep bringing you the goods in honor of the Royal Oak’s 50th anniversary!

While the iconic Royal Oak has gone through several size iterations over time, the original 39 mm ‘Jumbo’ execution from 1972 retained literal big brother status until the introduction of the 15400 with its oversized 41 mm case in 2014. The successor to that watch, the 15500, is the most recent iteration of this design icon.

This ref. 15500ST from 2020 is bigger and brasher than ever before. It is the perfect watch for those among us with a larger than life personality. The watch is executed in stainless steel and comes with the iconic Gerald Genta-designed integrated bracelet with hidden deployant clasp. The silver dial features Audemars Piguet’s iconic ‘Grande Tapisserie’ pattern with long applied indices and a discreet date window at the 3 o’clock position.

The 15500 is powered by Audemars Piguet’s in-house caliber 4302 automatic movement with an impressive 70-hour power reserve. The watch sports a see-through sapphire case back, which gives way for an unobstructed view of the exquisitely finished movement with the 22k gold rotor.

The watch is in excellent condition and comes as a full set with the original box and papers.
