Breitling is well known for its aviation watches like the Navitimer and TransOcean but they also made some very nice, classic dress watches.Like this example, a dress watch dating back to 1957 with a diameter of 35 mm. This timepiece was made from 18k yellow gold, runs on an automatic movement (caliber Felsa 1560) and has an antimagnetic case. All in all, this is quite a special watch! Especially, the details are mesmerizing: a nicely patinated dial that was once champagne gold, 18k yellow-gold applied faceted markers, beautifully-shaped yellow-gold dauphine hands and a yellow-gold applied Breitling 'B' logo. The watch comes with a leather strap of choice.
Introduction
Breitling Breitling was founded in the year 1884 by technical engineer Léon Breitling. He started a factory to produce measurement attributes like chronographs for Swiss watchmakers. In the early 20th century when Leon Breitling died, his son Gaston took over the factory and started producing watch cases that could even house chronograph movements. This was the beginning of Breitling as we know it nowadays.
