In 1956 the first Corum watches appeared on the market and the brand launched a veritable cascade of new ideas and with great success. It was even recognised by its peers as one of the most creative in the industry. And after you've seen these pictures, how can we not agree?

To be completely honest with you all, I don't even know where to begin with this piece. Do I start with the skeleton dial which showcases the amazing hand-engraving all over the, 18k yellow gold, beauty of this manual wound movement that is caliber 97B. Or do we talk about the amazing faceted glass, on both sides, which we can admire it through? Add the blued steel leaf hands and the stunning 18k yellow gold 36.5 mm case to the above and you get this. The Corum 'Skeleton' or as how we like to call it; "The Mirror Palace".

All in all this piece, dating back to the mid 90's, is a breathtaking piece of kit which we have never come across here at Amsterdam Vintage Watches. Oh, before I forget to mention the coolest part. We know that at least 67 of these are out there on this beautiful globe. The one (pun intended) we have right here is No.1. The first of its kind.
