This ref. 5022 features a 33.5 mm 18k yellow-gold case with elegant thin lugs and a stepped bezel. The white dial contains an intricate guilloché engraved pattern, elegant applied 18k yellow-gold Roman numerals as well as bold painted hash marks for the minutes, and a recessed decentral seconds counter at the 6 o’clock position. Together with the thin black feuille hands, the watch exudes a wonderful understated elegance. Calatrava’s traditionally come on chic exotic leather straps. This watch, however, was delivered with a luxurious 18k yellow-gold mesh bracelet with a lovely concealed butterfly clasp.This reference 5022 dates back to the early 2000s and runs on the ultra-thin manual winding caliber 215 PS movement, giving the watch an elegantly slim profile. The watch is in excellent condition and comes with an extract from the Patek Philippe archives.
