The ref. 5034 Patek Phillippe Travel Time is the quintessential wrist companion for the gentleman traveler.
Putting practicality and functionality front and center, the time only Calatrava line was introduced in 1932. The ref. 5034 is a modern version of the classic Calatrava aesthetic with a handy travel time complication that allows the wearer to easily read and adjust two time zones.
The ref. 5034 features a 33.3 mm case in 18k yellow gold with elegant thin lugs, the characteristic hobnail (clous de Paris in French) bezel, and small onion crown. The classic white dial features painted Breguet numerals and closed minute track. The local time can be read on the black polished hands while the reference time is displayed on the gold hand. Moreover, two subsidiary dials display the running seconds indicator (at the 6 o’clock position) and a 24 hour indicator (at the 12 o’clock position).
The ref. 5034 from 1997 runs on Patek’s ultra-thin manual winding caliber 215 movement, giving the watch an elegantly slim profile. We’ve paired this beauty with a cognac alligator leather Patek strap and an 18k yellow gold Patek ardillon buckle. The watch was just serviced by Patek Phillippe and comes with service papers and an extract of the Patek archives.
