Rolex Datejust
After World-war II Rolex created the first self-winding waterproof chronometer wristwatch that featured a date indication. For the first 10 years of production the date, shown at the 3 o’clock position, was not yet enhanced by the well-known ‘Cyclop lens’. This lens was introduced in 1955 and magnified the date by 2.5 times. The Cyclop lens isn’t the only invention, that we can still see up to today, the Datejust set in motion. The Jubilee bracelet was designed especially for the Datejust. The iconic elegance of this 5 piece bracelet is a great match to –arguably- one of the best buys in the vintage watch market.
