The watch we have on offer is a 16030 with a special, handsome dial. Namely, one with a white, linen texture.This Datejust has a sharp stainless steel case and - as it is a 16030 - it has a stainless steel, engine-turned bezel. It has the quickset function calibre 3035 and dates back to 1981, three years after the introduction of this reference and calibre. The watch comes on a stainless steel Jubilee bracelet that has no stretch. The hour markers and hands are from 18k white gold and have a tritium insert.
Introduction
Rolex Datejust In 1945 Rolex created the flagship Datejust to mark the company’s 40th anniversary. This model was the world’s first self-winding wristwatch with a date indication. With the Datejust, Rolex also introduced the iconic 5-piece Jubilee bracelet, first in solid gold and later in bicolor and stainless steel. On the 10th anniversary of the Datejust in 1955, the magnifying ‘cyclops lens’ was introduced.
