The vast majority of Day-Dates were delivered with the classic fluted bezel. That makes this ref. 1802 with polished domed bezel an attractive and uncommon alternative. The elegant mid-century stylings make this 1802 stand out amongst the crowd. Just look at this stunning coffee-brown coloured dial with a special concentric circle effect; which makes it impossible for you to take your eyes off of your watch. Next to that, the cool doorstop markers on the 6 and 9 o'clock position make it extra graceful. Together with the -slightly tapered- 18k gold ‘cigarette hands’ it is a marvellous configuration.

This Day-Date ref. 1802 runs on the caliber 1555 and all this glory sits inside a 36mm case. These rare smooth-bezel Day-Dates are, in our opinion, best enjoyed with a riveted Oyster. The bracelet, the case and the overall condition are excellent to say the very least.
