The reference 18028 or similar executions with the elegant and so called domed or smooth bezel lend themselves perfectly for housing a stone dial. The simplicity of the the bezel is a flawless match to the most sought-after stone dial in the world; The Onyx.

An important note and unknown fact for most of the people is that the lion's share of the available Onyx dials on the market are 'Service dials'. This particular example isn't one of them but rather is a rare execution with "T Swiss T" signed dial. The facetted apertures on these early stone dials are a nice addition to the looks and depth of the dial.

Furthermore, this specific example from 1978 is in excellent condition. The case is strong and it has thick lugs. The President bracelet is virtually stretch free.
