Funny thing; the Mk0 was discovered after the Mk1.

We are all well familiar with the Mk1 or 'Long E' dials on 1675's which was thought to be the first matte dial. After that they noticed that some lower serial Mk1's, also with Long E dials had a 'small GMT hand' which was then labeled the Mk0.5! We have handled our fair share of them next to boatloads of other generation 1675's. However the Mk0 was rediscovered even later on when they noticed lower serial numbers and identical printing to the type C 'Gilt dial' combined with the small GMT hand. So then the Mark 0, came to be!

This ref. 1675 from 1967 has everything we love about vintage GMT's. The aluminum ‘Pepsi’ bezel has remained in an amazing condition with strong colours on both the red and blue. The matte black dial has turned to a lovely lighter black hue. The painted tritium hour markers are in flawless condition, having attained a slight creamy tone, which compliments the handset nicely.

Tool watches like the GMT often experience quite a bit of wear over the years but this example remains in a very good condition. The accompanying, original riveted Oyster bracelet, with 7206 stamp and 80 end links, is in good condition as well, showing only little stretch. This 1675 is the perfect vintage GMT for your daily wearing and it's a cool 'first of its kind' which sets you apart from all others.
