The design was inspired by a belt; the integrated, brick-link bracelet that continues into the engraved bezel with the clasp as a belt buckle. This Rolex Precision reference 8209 dates back to 1957. Even though it is a watch, we think of it more as a piece of jewellery, a bracelet for a very elegant lady. Some people might argue that it's a cocktail watch but this is not true. In that case it would have had a clasp to cover the dial. The watch is in mint condition. The case is perfect and this can clearly be seen when we take a look at the case back as it still has the deep engravings. The dial is champagne gold, has 18k yellow-gold applied markers and alpha hands and is protected by a plexi crystal. The watch runs on the manual-winding calibre 193/5. We think the coolest detail is the 18k yellow-gold buckle.
