Painstakingly produced piece; totalling up to almost 30 carats in diamonds.

Legendary designer Emmanuel Gueit created some astonishing marvels and is oftentimes praised for his work regarding gem set wristwatches. Few "Haute joaillerie" executions are as impressive as this 14742BC. Created in the 90's from 18k white gold, existing of a diamond set bezel, pavé dial and intricately crafted bracelet.

The dial has emeralds for hourmarkers and black lacquered, elegantly thin, hour and minute hand. At the 12 o'clock position the AP logo is proudly applied among the brilliants. The bezel has unusually large diamonds; 26 of them to be precise. The crown is neatly integrated in the design.

Arguably most impressive is the bracelet construction. The blingy-theme continues here, but true craftsmanship and talent is needed to achieve such a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing bracelet. Rows of six diamonds, which move individually, alternated with decorated strips of white gold. The clasp too is nicely finished. It fits a wrist up to 18CM and comes with two additional links if needed.

The mechanical movement has undergone a full revision at the maison.
