This example features the coveted Mk3 dial: a silver-white Grande Tapisserie with short hour markers and the AP signature rendered with the distinctive capitalized “A” and “P”. These so-called “short markers” give the watch a noticeably more modern character. The proportions feel subtly different from earlier executions, more open and more youthful. Thick baton indexes stretch elegantly across the textured grid, framing the day and date apertures without disturbing the balance of the dial.

The layout remains one of the most harmonious ever conceived within the Royal Oak lineage: day and date perfectly counterbalancing one another, while the moonphase anchors the lower register with quiet symmetry. Brushed surfaces and polished bevels catch the light in sharp contrast, emphasizing the sculptural quality of the case and bracelet. The integrated bracelet itself remains as fluid as ever; industrial design executed to haute horlogerie standards.

Dating back to early 2000's, this example is offered with its original box and open papers and, more importantly, has been preserved in exceptionally sharp condition.
