The Patek Philippe Calatrava is the Platonic ideal of a dress watch: perfect in pretty much every way.In 1932, Patek introduced the ref. 96 Calatrava dress watch. Named after the Calatrava cross, the symbol of the medieval Spanish Military Order of Calatrava and Patek Philippe's corporate logo, this watch became the blueprint for most dress watches since.Putting practicality and functionality front and center, a Calatrava is always a time-only watch with an understated round case. The ref. 3411 was introduced in 1959 and produced for about a decade. This particular piece dates back to 1966. The 18k yellow-gold case features elegant thin lugs and measures 34.5 mm. The classic opaline white dial sports applied 18k yellow-gold pointed baton markers and lovely thick yellow-gold dauphine hands. The watch is powered by Patek’s legendary hand finished caliber 27 SC manual winding movement. This ref. 3411 comes on one of our elegant black alligator leather straps and is accompanied by an extract of the Patek Philippe archives.
