The Gondolo line is a celebration of Patek Philippe’s heritage that combines its historic ‘form watches’ with the strong line and geometric sensibilities of the Art Deco style.

This Gondolo Cabriolet from the mid-2000s is the perfect modern reinterpretation of what could have been a design from the 1920s. The ref. 5099 features a 28 x 28 mm (28 x 39 including the lugs) two-tone 18k white and rose gold square case. The Cabriolet moniker refers to the hinged cover that can be opened, like a cabriolet car, with two buttons at the side of the case.

When the ‘top is popped’, a beautiful 1920s-style salmon dial with a grainy finish reveals itself. The dial features painted Arabic numerals, a classic decentral seconds register at the 6 o’clock position, and elegant black leaf hands.

This beautiful ref. 5099 was produced in 2004 and retailed in 2006. The manual-winding caliber 215PS movement is in excellent running condition, having been serviced at our trusted Patek Philippe service center. The watch comes on a tan Patek Philippe leather strap with the characteristic rectangular 18k gold Patek Philippe-signed Cabriolet ardillon buckle. Last but not least, the watch comes with service papers, an extract from the Patek Philippe archives, and a Patek Philippe service pouch.
