Patek Philippe Nautilus 3800J

Do you already own a yellow-gold Day-date and you want something else? We, Amsterdam Vintage Watches, just have the right watch for you!

The Patek Philippe Nautilus, with reference 3800J, is a marvelous work of art! This example dates back to 1988 and is in great condition. This watch was marketed as a ‘luxury sport watch’ and is well-known for its porthole-looking case design and integrated bracelet. This timepiece is the first evolution of Gerald Genta’s iconic 3700. The ref. 3800 was introduced in 1981 as the smaller version (the perfect case size of 37,5mm) of its 42mm-measuring big brother. Patek Philippe did not only adjust the case size, but also the mechanics. The 3800 was the first Patek Philippe Nautilus with an in-house, automatic watch movement: the caliber 335 SC, which stands for seconde centrale. Unlike the specimens we have had before, this 3800J does not have a gold, grooved dial but a beautiful blue one. This example comes with its original box and papers.

By the way, of course you can get this beautiful watch, even if you don’t own a yellow-gold Day-date!
